Sangwin concrete products part of the Sangwin group incorporating building and civil engineering - educational furniture manufacturing - surfacing contracting - crane and plant hire and headed by Nick Sangwin Managing Director are strengthening their precast concrete company by taking on board Redi-Rock.

The company have already started making the blocks.

Nick Sangwin saw the potential in the Redi-Rock system hence the reason for his interest in the product.

So what of the system? The logistics of the Redi-Rock system is one of speed of assembly there being no need for brick layers - concrete foundations - sand or cement, just a level ground and the sheer weight of the blocks each keying into each other provide a very sound retaining barrier to earth movement - to water pressure, e.g Sea defence - River flooding, etc If at any time there was a need to move the barrier - no demolition is required just move the blocks and replace into the new position.

A recyclable source which is indeed cost effective.

Aesthetically the walls are very attractive taking on a natural cobbled or stone appearance and can be coloured if required.

Landscaping in particular provides a massive market - Golf courses and Natural parks provide a multitude of applications - zoos can benefit too.

Defence walls to protect sensitive areas of buildings without imposing ugly looking sand bags or other means of defence against terrorist activity.

Once in place no maintenance required.

Concrete planters on top of any wall will enhance the general appearance of the wall itself.
