Redi-Rock retaining wall solution specified for sporting developments.
Redi-Rock has been specified as the retaining wall solution for new multi-purpose sports developments at schools in East Sussex.
The first project will be at a secondary school in Hastings where schedules are currently being finalised.
Neil McHugh of Surfacing Standards, the consultants on the project said: "For retaining walls, we would typically specify gabions; however, there is a need for speedy installation, appearance and tight completion schedules".
"The Redi-Rock solution is ideal and hits all of our targets - a cost effective, pre-cast solution which looks like natural stone".
"By design, ground preparation is minimised and the Redi-Rock blocks can be delivered and quickly installed to meet our programme.".
