Renderplas sees growth in sales of PVCu beads

Renderplas has enjoyed record sales in the first quarter of 2008, as PVCu becomes the material of choice for plasterer's beads.

"The results are very pleasing, of course" says Daniel Leedham-Green, Managing Director of Renderplas, "as it is a good feeling to have some level of security in these grim times we are facing".

"But the most pleasing thing is that people are clearly listening to the message that we have been promoting since the latest British Standard for External Rendering and Internal Plastering came into force in 2005: the only cost effective way to meet the Standard in all situations is to use PVCu beading".

The Renderplas success story is based on the age-old philosophy of best products, best service, right price.

"We now have over one million metres of beads in stock, across 35 different profiles with over half the range available in twelve natural colours complementing modern through colour renders".

"All of these can be shipped to site within 48 hours of ordering, and usually within 24 hours in practice".

The range, comprising of Stops and Bellcast Beads, Corner Beads and Expansion Beads, as well as Edge Beads and Skim Beads for dry lining, has been developed over 18 years since Renderplas was the first manufacturer to introduce PVCu beads to the UK market in 1990.

Most recently, the innovative design of PowerBeads from Renderplas, have been shown to reduce on-site time by up to 40% compared to traditional beads.
