Construction industry resourcing problem
Construction needs to attract a greater proportion of the graduate population to ensure we have a workforce comprised of appropriate management ability.
Demand for multidisciplinary HSQE professionals
Growing trend to amalgamate health, safety, quality and environmental functions under one umbrella is being led by the construction sector according to Resourcing Solutions.
The office will begin life with a team of 3 sector dedicated consultants who between them possess over 15 years' experience delivering recruitment for the niche rail and engineering sectors.
The team will be looking to double its size within the first few months of operation.
The Ashby based operation is the first new office the company has opened since it began business in 1996 and marks the initial step in a nationwide growth strategy by the specialist recruiter.
"The demand for supporting recruitment activities across the engineering and construction world is growing exponentially because of the major building projects across the country, the ongoing skills-crisis and an increasing preference for the sectors to turn to recruitment consultancies for help", says Richard Lawrance, Managing Director, RSL.
Commenting on the opening of the office, Richard Lawrance said: "Having a presence in the middle of the country enables us to more effectively service our nationwide client base and the opening of our Midlands office represents our first step in developing a national branch network".
"The regional office will practice the same lines of specialism, dedication and professional service that RSL is known for and we are looking forward to having a hands-on presence outside of our existing Southern-England base.".
