Resourcing Solutions' founder and managing director, Richard Lawrance, reflects on a decade in recruitment, 'Initially, we provided recruitment services solely to the rail sector.

Ten years ago, we used to deal with countless piles of paperwork and ring clients and candidates on their mobile phone as a last resort - now it's selected as the first option for contact.' The company has generated GBP150million turnover in ten years and has helped place over 2,600 contract assignments and more than 2.300 permanent placements.

As people are proven to be the lifeblood of any organisation, staffing is now the country's number one priority.

Obviously, technology has allowed us immediate access to new and improved skills from across the globe.

Today, we source and provide information online and communicate electronically and in real-time with a talent pool that is now available to us from all corners of the globe.

This has enabled the company to develop its international recruitment service further, taking a stronger role in our portfolio of services.' Speaking about his company's success, Richard explained: "it has been an amazing ride.

We are focused on continuing our growth and grabbing further success.

We will remain committed to delivering the high quality service we have become associated with and despite all the fantastic advancements in computer technology, we strive to maintain our focus on a personal service by ensuring that we pick up the phone.'.
