Oil and Water to move entire fleet to Renault
Hazardous waste management specialist, Oil and Water has formulated a three year plan to change its entire fleet over to Renault.
Hazardous waste management specialist, Oil and Water, has taken delivery of two new Renault Premiums from Renault Trucks South West.
The Renault Premium 270.18 crane and the Premium 320.26 tanker have joined the company's dedicated fleet of ADR vehicles.
Oil and Water is so pleased with the performance and service received by Renault Trucks that it has formulated a three year plan to change its entire fleet over to Renault.
Peter Frampton, Chairman, Oil and Water, explains the reasons for the company's decision.
"There are a number of reasons why we will only be purchasing Renault Trucks from now on," he says.
"We were very pleased with the two new Renault Premiums and so decided to trial the new Renault Premium 440 with Optidriver II gearbox".
"Despite initial reluctance on our drivers' part to drive an automatic, we all thought it was absolutely superb and are now converted - the Optidriver II gearbox is so easy to operate - everyone loved it!".
As hazardous waste carriers, the company also has health and safety and legal regulations to consider.
"With a Renault truck we can purchase it direct from the factory, already with ADR and Pet Reg".
"specification," explains Frampton".
""This makes the whole process so much simpler and straightforward".
"I am also confident of the excellent back-up received from the team at Renault Trucks South West and Renault Repairer, A E George of Bruton".
The decision to change its entire fleet to Renaults was also influenced by Oil and Water's good relationship with Renault Trucks in the past".
"We have an eight year old Renault Premium 385 which was purchased second hand, six years ago, and has never let us down," explains Simon Mason, Commercial Manager, Oil and Water.
"This led us to purchase a Renault Magnum last year and now the two new Premiums which are great trucks".
"We are confident, therefore, that moving towards an all Renault fleet is the best decision".
