JCB drives RWM visitors to the great outdoors.
Visitors to the outdoor exhibition and demonstration area at the Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition 2005 (RWM05) can see vehicles and recycling machinery up close and in action.
Organisers of the Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition 2005 (RWM05), which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from 13 to 15 September, have unveiled details of the show's outdoor exhibition and demonstration area, where visitors can see vehicles and recycling machinery up close and in action.
JCB has announced it will be showcasing a selection of high specification models from its new Wastemaster Fleet on an outdoor stand and will be featuring its purpose built machines in the RWM05 Live Vehicle Demonstration Area and Live Waste Demonstration Area.
The outdoor area of the show has proved increasingly popular and was expanded in 2004 to include more exhibitors than ever, with over 80 tonnes of waste processed each day.
This year visitors can see a variety of demonstrations including car baling by Wright Engineers.
Green waste and construction waste demonstrations have also been planned and a full timetable will be posted on www.rwmexhibition.com before the show.
Other vehicle exhibitors will include Manitou (Site Lift) , Northern Irish trailer manufacturer BMI and Seddon Atkinson Vehicles who will all be showcasing their latest products.
Finning (UK) , national Caterpillar dealer for Great Britain, will also be taking an outdoor stand, together with Faun Municipal Vehicles and Atlas Wheeled Loaders.
Meanwhile John Hanlon and Co will be among the companies offering vehicles and handling equipment for hire.
CRT Heaven designs and manufactures specialised equipment for the safe and cost-effective recycling of Cathode Ray Tubes and will be exhibiting at RWM for the first time.
Managing director David Harris says: "Although we are new to the recycling industry we do understand that RWM05 is the industry show and consider it the premier event for launching new products".
"The timing of the show is perfect for us with the pending implementation of the Waste Electrical Electronic Equipment Directive".
Crushers, shredders, scanners, sorters, chippers, hammermills and conveying equipment from the likes of Trecycle, Wilkie Recycling Equipment, Harry West and HAAS Recycling Systems will also be show-cased.
RWM05, organised by Materials Recycling Week, is the UK's largest event for the waste and recycling sector.
Over 350 companies are expected to exhibit this year, attracting more than 5,600 visitors.
Other features at the show include: .
* Free comprehensive seminar programme.
* Employment Zone.
* Legislation Zone (backed by the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs).
