Engineered AHU solution for city lawyers
Reznor RHC coil provides energy efficient heat for a 28,000m2 building home to European law firm S J Berwin.
An inaccessible basement plant room called for a lateral approach to the installation of a new heating system at Number 10 Queen Street Place, London EC4, one of the City's landmark buildings and now home to European law firm S J Berwin In an extensive refurbishment and extension project by The Blackstone Group, the building on Southwark Bridge has been completely transformed into state-of-the-art commercial premises which include offices, retail space and a ground floor car park

Reznor turns up the heat on former mill
Reznor supplied a heating system based on the highly efficient V3 single-burner heater at a 4-storey former mill at East Ardsley.
John Robertson Architects' design included a remodelled entrance, new double-height atrium and a high level garden overlooking the Thames on a previously empty roof.
To heat the 28,000m2 building, AHU manufacturer KlimaTherm, working for main building services contractor Interiors ISG, engineered two 625kW output warm air heaters, each 11mx4.5mx3.5m in size.
The heaters were to be placed on top of each other in the basement plant room.
However, access to the plant room could only be gained via the car park.
A hole was cut in the concrete floor of the car park and the flat-pack AHUs lowered into the space beneath.
Working in very cramped conditions, heating engineers re-assembled the large heaters.
The AHUs draw fresh air in from outside and either heat it using the Reznor RHC coil fitted within the unit or cool and filter it.
The tempered air is circulated round the building via wall-mounted fan coils that regulate air temperature and quality in individual areas of the building.
