Nottingham Trent University has complete a building services upgrade with supports systems from Roof-Pro.

The refurbished roof, designed to a low weight bearing design, presented consultants with a challenge of how to install the new services equipment without overloading the roof.

Working to the projects specific design criteria, Roof-Pro developed a supports system utilising non-penetrative support bases to dissipate the load to specific structural support points.

This enabled the project team to support the services without any risk to the roof system while eliminating detailing and thermal bridges.
