Richard Burbidge introduce new range, specifically designed for use in bathrooms and heavy commercial installations

Responding to demand for high-performing, moisture-resistant laminate flooring, Richard Burbidge has introduced a new range, specifically designed for use in bathrooms and heavy commercial installations.

The Connect 12mm AC5 click laminate is proven to be 260% more hardwearing than standard laminates found in domestic and light commercial situations, and features an innovative sound absorb system that reduces footfall noise by up to 50%.

An antistatic system is applied as standard to the laminate surface and with no foam underlay required, it is quickly and easily installed directly onto a damp proof membrane using the glueless fixing system.

Available in Natural Oak, Light Varnished Oak and Enhanced Beech, the Connect 12mm AC5 has an attractive brushed surface structure and is supplied with a 20-year guarantee.

Says Flooring Product Manager Catriona Nicholls: "Laminate is a popular option for bathroom floors but many homeowners remain wary of its moisture-resistance".

"Plus, demand for 12mm boards that can withstand high levels of abrasion in environments like offices has risen rapidly in recent times".

"The new Connect 12mm AC5 range satisfies the requirements of both of these situations".

"By adding it to our Connect Flooring collection, we now offer a laminate solution for every application, from a basic domestic floor in a kitchen, lounge or bathroom right through to a heavy duty, commercial installation".

Recommended retail price for the Connect 12mm AC5 laminate starts from GBP17.99 per square metre.
