Burbidge FUSION for Juliette Balconies
Ideal for apartments and townhouses, the new Juliette Balcony system offers specifiers and architects modern styling plus flexibility of design and installation, without bespoke costs and lead times.
Outdoor balustrade expert Richard Burbidge has enhanced its innovative FUSION Commercial outdoor balustrade range with the addition of a new system suitable for Juliette Balconies.
Ideal for apartments and townhouses, the new Juliette Balcony system offers specifiers and architects modern styling plus flexibility of design and installation, without bespoke costs and lead times.
Based on a popular combination of metal rails and connectors with timber handrails, the new Juliette Balcony system features two glass infill panels available in two different sizes adding the to system's versatility.
The system can be installed with an additional timber or modern metal handrail.
Alternatively, for a clean finish the system can also be installed without an extra handrail.
The easy-to-fit system is assembled into one piece that can then be offered up to the wall and secured using specially designed fixing brackets, helping to save time on site.
The system has been tested by FIRA to resist loadings of 0.74kN/m in line with Building Regulations, making it suitable for residential Juliette Balconies.
David Richards, Commercial Market Manager for Richard Burbidge, comments: "The FUSION Commercial range has always offered a fresh alternative to the steel systems and bespoke glazed structures traditionally used on working domestic balconies, which can be more costly.
The addition of the Juliette Balcony system makes the outdoor balustrade range even more comprehensive to better meet the needs of specifiers working on multi-occupancy buildings.
"The new system's stunning aesthetics and clean lines can add real kerb appeal to developments, yet the off shelf availability makes it an affordable and accessible system.
The FUSION Commercial range already offers three systems for working balconies available with glass panels, slatted timber panels and timber balusters.
