Design possibilities of PVC honeycomb panels

PVC honeycomb panels now available from Rockwell Sheet Sales means architects, designers and manufacturers now offer a variety of design possibilities.

Architects, designers and manufacturers now have a new material available to them which may promote ideas for new applications and products.

PVC honeycomb panels from Rockwell Sheet Sales are similar in appearance to expanded metal.

They are 250mm wide x 2.5M long.

They have a mesh size of either 15mm or 20mm.

The panel thickness is either 5mm or 10mm though it is possible to manufacture up to 25mm.thick.

Long lengths can also be manufactured.

The current colour offered is a light grey.

Subject to quantity alternative colours could be offered.

The material is corrosion, fungi, rot, chemical and moisture resistant.

It is energy absorbing, sound and vibration damping and shock resistant.

It is a good thermal and electrical insulator.

It also has very good bonding properties to rigid metal or wood skins for bonded panels.

Possible uses include anti-dazzle screens, architectural panels, drying racks, filters, grilles, fencing and horticultural applications, packaging, reinforcement, scenery construction, suspended ceilings and vents.
