Robert Hitchins Limited has announced that Asprea, owned by Carillion plc, has taken on a new lease at Eastern Business Park, Cardiff The support services and construction company will house its regional contact centre at the popular site

The out of town business park at St Mellons is a prestigious office location owned by Eastern Business Park Limited, a subsidiary company of commercial property developer Robert Hitchins.

Patrick Collins, general manager of Asprea Wales South West, said the contact centre was previously located in Rotherham.

However, the company has now launched six new regional contact centres - one of which will be located at Eastern Business Park.

"Asprea will now manage all household claims for the Norwich Union Partnership - this is fantastic news for the business," said Patrick.

"We needed a new location for the contact centre and were impressed by Eastern Business Park's superb facilities for staff and the highly competitive leasing arrangements".

Asprea is one of many existing occupiers at Eastern Business Park including Ordnance Survey, Welsh Water, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Police Complaints Commission and Taylor Woodrow.

The Park is a modern campus style office development in a mature, landscaped environment, with ample parking and 24 hour access security.

Jane Tooley, asset manager for Robert Hitchins, said: "We were able to offer Carillion both a prime location and first class facilities, essential in running a regional contact centre".

Asprea staff begin training at Eastern Business Park this month (April).

Further information on the availability of existing space and proposed new buildings at Eastern Business Park is available from Robert Hitchins Limited.
