Rockwool, the leading manufacturer of stone wool insulation for thermal, acoustic and firesafe insulation, has launched Rockwool Acoustic Infill for high performance sound absorption on perforated metal decks Particularly suitable for flat roof areas over convention halls and sports facilities, manufacturing plants, entrance halls, corridors, hallways and stairwells, a perforated metal deck construction which includes Rockwool Acoustic Infill and Rockwool Hardrock DD Roofing Board will provide a significant improvement in sound absorption and will achieve Class C sound absorption rating in accordance with BS EN ISO 11654:1997
