Roto introduces the multi-point lock with ESP

A Roto Roof Windows and Hardware product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Feb 4, 2010

The latest addition to Roto's Doorsafe range is a a multi-point lock offering security and reliability for residential doors.

H567 is a new concept with several features designed to reduce hassle and meet different user requirements.

Keyless locking is one advantage; lift the lever and the door is locked with no need to insert the key, except when unlocking.

The Roto Doorsafe Vareo H567 multi-point lock with ESP features three mode settings: Egress, Secure and Passing.

Each mode is selected by sliding a switch on the faceplate.

Egress facilitates a quick exit without a key.

When locked in this mode, the door is fully secure on the outside, but can be opened immediately from inside by depressing the handle.

Secure is a deadlocking mode, with a key required for exit.

This is the full security mode, used for preventing unwanted egress by children, or when leaving the home unoccupied.

Passing is an ease-of-access mode, allowing the door to be opened from both sides.

This mode is useful for briefly going outside.

H567 has proven operational strength and has been life cycle tested to ensure it meets or exceeds all current industry standards.

The Rotosil Nano surface coating technology provides corrosion resistance to the highest grade of EN 1670.

H567 is designed to enable doors to meet the requirements of BS PAS 24, as well as forthcoming standards such as BS 3621-2, BS 8621-2, BS 10621-2 for thief resistant locks, plus European standards prEN 15685 and ENV 1627-30.
