Rockdoor investment means efficient
manufacturing
Leading composite door manufacturer Rockdoor has invested GBP29,000 in a fully automated wrapping machine at its state-of-the-art factory in Blackburn.
The investment in wrapping machine has been made to further improve manufacturing efficiencies which have seen production of Rockdoor double Rockdoor is the only door designed for the domestic retail market

Rockdoor fully automated sash line
With the addition of a pick and place machine, leading composite door manufacturer Rockdoor now has a fully automated sash line.
The machine, which can wrap 30 Rockdoors an hour, ensures that customers receive their order on time and in perfect condition.
Sales Director Mark Simm comments: "The new machine has allowed us to move four people from wrapping to other jobs in the factory".

As part of its drive for manufacturing efficiency Rockdoor has invested in recycling by employing a Waste Recycling Manager and investing GBP80,000 in a shredding machine so powerful it can shred a Rockdoor in under 30 seconds.
