A Rollalong Hire product story

Metropolitan Police Authority has turned to portable building specialist, Rollalong Hire to supply a variety of accommodation, as required, over a three year period.

The exacting nature of police investigations in the modern era, generally encompassing minutely detailed forensic examinations, tends to be both time consuming and often involves a large number of personnel.

As a consequence of this logistical burden, the Metropolitan Police Authority has turned to portable building specialist, Rollalong Hire to supply a variety of accommodation, as required, over a three year period.

The contract provides for set rates to cover both the hire and the delivery of a wide range of administration and welfare modules to sites anywhere within the M25.

These might include incident rooms, offices, canteens, toilets and even a temporary mortuary.

Already Rollalong Hire has provided the Metropolitan Police with a total of 16 units for an operation in the Silvertown area of London, from where a coordinated exercise was undertaken to clear untaxed vehicles from the streets of the capital.

Like other clients who have opted for medium to long term arrangements with Rollalong Hire, the Met will avoid the administrative workload of constantly re-tendering while receiving the support and service of Rollalong Hire, a hugely experienced portable building supplier with national resources.

The terms of the contract provide for a percentage price increase each year to take account of inflation.
