Counter screen system - protection
against attack

The CounterShield anti-attack security system launched from Safetell can close in just one second to protect public-facing staff from spontaneous verbal or physical assault.

Good client interaction is retained by the open screen solution while giving staff complete control over the varying levels of protection they may need and also reducing stress and its effects Single or multiple side-by-side screens, with or without additional fixed panels, offer individual or group protection and screens can be set at any partially open or closed position

The screen is controlled by pushbuttons for Reactive high-speed closure, Down or Up and a foot kick Reactive activator is available.

Sensors stop the moving screen prior to contact with obstacles such as an arm or implement before repeatedly trying to close.

This safety feature prevents injury, possible litigation and encourages prompt withdrawal.

Connected to standard mains, the system's electric motor operates from a trickle charged battery and functions for up to 20 operations in a power cut.

Systems can be retrofitted onto most existing counterwork types and layouts, and if additional counter reinforcement is required, Safetell offers a bespoke fitting service.

Fixed panels are 11.5mm glass and moving screens are of 8mm thick scratch-resistant polycarbonate to not only give extreme protection against attack even by a large implement such as a sledge hammer but actually enhance personal communications with clear speech and easy access.
