Reciprocal business pays dividends
SECTOR awards Spaceway the contract to refurbish its premises.
For the past ten years, Romsey based Spaceway South has used Southampton based charity, SECTOR Services (the SOCIAL ENTERPRISE CENTRE AND TRAINING ORGANISATION LIMITED) for sending out regular mailshots to customers Now SECTOR has reciprocated Spaceway's long-term support by awarding the company the contract to refurbish its premises

Originally established 25 years ago as the "Southampton Industrial Therapy Organisation", SECTOR operates as a mailing house and copier centre.
The Company is a charity and exists to provide meaningful occupational and workplace training, in a sheltered environment, for persons suffering from mental illness, learning difficulties or in need of psychosocial rehabilitation.
SECTOR has four units on the City Commerce Centre in Southampton and recently opened a 'learning centre' for the use of its trainees.
As part of this expansion SECTOR decided to refurbished three of its units to make them more suitable for purpose.
Knowing Spaceway South's reputation as one of the UK's leading providers of integrated interior space solutions, it turned to the company to undertake the work.
To kick off the project, Spaceway first prepared detailed drawings to show how SECTOR's requirements could be met within the space available.
This involved installing new, suspended ceilings and concealed lighting, fitting two new fire doors to replace rotten exterior doors and removing of old partitioning and replacing with new.
In addition, Spaceway also painted all woodwork and walls.
"Spaceway has provided our permanent staff and trainees with a far more pleasant and convivial working environment", says Peter Orchard, Director of SECTOR.
"We had specific requirements which Spaceway were able to achieve for us".
