SAS International and Krantz partnership provides new, innovative module solution where technical excellence meets creative architectural design

SAS International, market leader in intelligent metal solutions, and Krantz, the leaders in air distribution and static cooling innovation, announce that they have entered into a partnership agreement with immediate effect As leaders in their markets, they will be working together on innovative new architectural solutions, both parties drawing on huge expertise in their respective fields

The focus for development will be the provision of bespoke integrated service modules incorporating heating/cooling, lighting, sprinklers and PA systems.

There are significant benefits in using integrated service modules (ISMs), both in terms of building design and ongoing building management.

These include:.

* Off-site assembly leading to increased product quality and ease of installation.

* Accelerated installation, reducing building programmes.

* Low energy consumption reducing building running costs.

* Low maintenance, further impacting on life cycle costs.

The Krantz/SAS team are able to design, supply and install a fully co-ordinated building interior including ISMs, matching architectural bulkheads, columns and acoustic panels, to ensure a fully co-ordinated solution.

The design team can be involved from an early concept stage working alongside the building owner/developer/architect and providing advice on product aesthetics, and drawing on a vast experience of completed projects, through to the detailed design stage working with engineering consultants on lighting design, acoustics and room comfort conditions.

In addition to expert design advice, Krantz is able to offer full load laboratory simulation and visualisation of airflow patterns, temperatures and gradients together with a fully comprehensive CFD service.
