The campus, which is a few miles north of Belfast, is home to the Sports Institute of Northern Ireland.
The new facility will offer an internal running track and throws area.
The original intention had been to install sound insulation but the availability of the brackets, which have been tested to new European standards, removed the need for this.
Test results for Saint-Gobain's Ensign system using the acoustic brackets have recorded the exceptionally low decibel level of 11dB(A) at 4 litres of flow per second without the need for additional insulation.
The Ensign acoustic bracket features a ZN/AL coating and has an elongated fixing slot for greater flexibility.
It is available in 50, 70, 100 and 150mm diameters.
