Saint-Gobain Pipelines win Innovation
Award
Saint-Gobain Pipelines, leading supplier of ductile iron pipes, has worked with Balfour Beatty Utilities on a project granted an Innovation Award by South West Water.
In collaboration with Saint-Gobain Pipelines, who provided the pipes and fittings, Balfour Beatty Utilities was winner of the innovation category, for the first ever directional drilling of PAM Directional ductile iron, carried out on the A38 Presented at a ceremony held at Woodbury Park in Exeter, the award was designed to recognise a supplier who had demonstrated collaborative and new ways of working
Nigel Ward of Saint-Gobain Pipelines describes how delighted the company is to have been instrumental in an award-winning project: "We are really pleased that Balfour Beatty Utilities has been rewarded for its work on the A38 project and we feel very privileged to have been involved".
"We pride ourselves on our innovative thinking and it is fantastic to have the efforts of Saint-Gobain Pipelines and Balfour Beatty Utilities recognised in this way.".
