The lift goes from a store room (previously a dressing room to a ground floor bedroom) to the wine cellars below.
This means heavy crates can be moved easily, avoiding a hazardous narrow stairway to the bowels of the castle.
Adjacent to the cellars is the wood store essential for a daily requirement of logs for numerous open fires all over the castle.
The lift now plays a vital role in the easier movement of the logs to a ground floor location.
Simon Foster, Castle Manager, comments: " Eastnor is a fabulous setting for any special event, but, behind the scenes, it is a challenging venue in which to move deliveries and equipment.
There is not one level access point to the castle and internally it is a complicated network of stairways.
The installation had made some of our service challenges much easier and avoided the risk of injury, through excessive lifting, to our staff." The Stannah Trolleylift is part of the goods only product range suitable for lifting goods from 50kg to 1500kg.
