Stannah get a taste of the Far East at LOMBOK

Stannah Lifts has installed a Stairiser CR platform lift in Lombok furniture store in Brighton.

Lombok is a small furniture chain, offering handmade, affordable, solid-wood furniture.

The Far East provides the inspiration for the furniture design, which is handcrafted in Indonesia using reclaimed teak from disused houses.

The Brighton store was opened in August 2005 and like all Lombok stores it has been styled to give a sense of how its furniture would work in real homes.

Lombok chose Stannah Lifts to provide an access solution for those customers with restricted mobility wanting to see its furniture displayed on the first floor.

Stannah's Stairiser CR travels up and down the stores elegant curved stairs with ease, and the joystick control and steady speed gives the user complete confidence.

A non-slip platform floor with ramps and barrier arms that lower around the user gives a feeling of security whilst the lift is in operation.

The operating rail blends in with the surrounding decor and the lift platform folds neatly away leaving the full width of the staircase for pedestrians.

Stannah Access Lifts are manufactured in the UK to BS8300 and are part of a range of Stannah products to help meet the requirements of the DDA.
