Stannah has installed the Midilift SL at Sherborne Girls school to solve an issue of disabled access in its sports centre.
The school recently extended its indoor sports facilities and to ensure disabled people would be able to use them, it included the Stannah platform lift.
The Stannah Midilift SL takes wheelchair users up to a range of first-floor facilities designed especially for disabled people.
It nestles beside the general-access stairway and complements the interior design of the Centre.
The two-stop platform lift moves within a glass-clad shaft providing ample room for a wheelchair user to enter and exit the lift with ease.
It features easy-to-use constant-pressure push buttons, a non-slip floor and feature lighting to ensure it is simple and easy for every passenger.
