Bottom-drive Microlift installed at Pizza Express

A Stannah product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Feb 3, 2009

Stannah has installed a bottom-drive Microlift at Pizza Express in Barnstaple, Devon, to efficiently transport food and associated items between the ground-floor kitchen and first-floor restaurant.

The two-stop, 50kg dumbwaiter is said to be easier to maintain and require less headroom than a top-drive model.

The brushed stainless-steel Microlift has one entrance per floor and on opposite sides.

The small and discrete lift is ideal for the repeated movement of small loads in this type of fast-paced catering environment, Stannah said.

Installed and working in a few days, subject to builder's work, it also helps the owners meet the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act.

This Stannah bottom-drive Microlift is serviced by the Bristol branch of Stannah Lifts Services.
