Stannah Stairiser improves cathedral access

A Stannah product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Mar 10, 2009

Stannah has installed a Stairiser CR inclined platform lift at Liverpool Cathedral to enable wheelchair users to reach an extra seating area sited in the nave wall.

The lift takes users up and down one curved flight of steps.

Designed for occasional use, the lift is safe and simple to operate and brings reassurance to both user and companion.

Wall-mounted, the lift folds flat against the rail when not in use.

Suitable for any run of stairs with a single turn, multiple landings or spiral configuration, the Stairiser CR is also available stanchion-mounted with a range of four platform sizes with end or side access.
