New Heights With Innovative Curtain
Walling System
Recognising the need for a versatile, high-performance yet easy to construct curtain walling system, Sapa Building Systems has developed and launched Gridframe MRV.
The Gridframe MRV curtain walling system based on innovative concepts from the broad European Sapa product stable has been designed to overcome many of the design and installation problems that arise with most curtain walling systems on the market Gridframe MRV comprises just 4 main components owing to a co-extruded pressure plate and glazing gasket that is extruded from a thermally enhanced material

Refurbishment of UK's Biggest School Completed
Sapa Building Systems has added to its extensive portfolio of school projects with the recent completion of a four-year long project at Great Barr School in Birmingham valued in excess of £2m.
Minimal tooling is required for the square cut transoms making fabrication simpler and far quicker than conventional jointing methods that require additional machining, although of course where preferred these can be incorporated.
MRV is soon to be available in not only a traditional capped system but also Trame Horizontal, which accentuates the horizontal lines of the system as well as a high performance structurally glazed option.
As well as being designed to UK (CWCT) and European standards, the MRV Gridframe system meets the requirement of Part L using hard-coat glass, ensuring maximum design flexibility whilst keeping costs down compared to most curtain walling systems.
The launch of Gridframe MRV follows other product launches from Sapa this year, including the DUALFRAME doors and window and kit roof system.
