New Press Tooling Makes Fabricators Life
Easier
New press tooling for Sapa's recently launched DUALFRAME range is making life easier for fabricators as well as offering them considerable time, financial and space savings.
Two new heavy duty press tools mean that fabricators can 'press and punch' all elements of the DUALFRAME system in minutes, compared to hours by hand using conventional methods, representing direct financial savings from the moment it's installed All the pressed elements are accurate and clean cut, requiring very little de-burring, and therefore corresponding to further cost savings

New Heights With Innovative Curtain Walling System
Recognising the need for a versatile, high-performance yet easy to construct curtain walling system, Sapa Building Systems has developed and launched Gridframe MRV.
Of particular importance to fabricators where space is at a premium, the compact press tool station takes up considerably less room than the equipment it replaces, meaning multiple units can be installed to increase production capacity without the need for costly building expansion or relocation.
Aside from standard health and safety guidance, the user training required for the press tooling is far less than with other manufacturing processes, allowing valuable skilled staff to be diverted to other areas of a fabricators business.
Meeting all current safety standards, the press tools, supplied and supported by a leading manufacturer, they have been designed so that daily maintenance is kept to a minimum whilst die changes and any other maintenance required doesn't require the specialist skills of a toolmaker.
