Sapa is perfect fit for docklands hotel
Sapa Building Systems Dualframe 55 has been used for a major extension for the Express by Holiday Inn hotel in London's Docklands.
The hotel's extension project sought to blend the new extension elements with the existing and link into the company's well known corporate identity colours Architects for the project, Househam Henderson Limited, designed the 48 new bedrooms to be simple and contemporary in appearance and deliberately sought out windows that offered clean sightlines that would allow the maximum amount of light to flood the rooms

Sapa's Dualframe 55mm Casement Window system was specified in a polyester powder coated dark blue finish that contrasted with the silver appearance of the exterior cladding, whilst curtain walling installed to the hotel's conference facilities bestowed a light and airy feel with floor to ceiling glazing.
The overall effect created a distinctive facade for the hotel which is situated in the heart of London's dynamic Docklands area close to Canary Wharf.
The project was undertaken by Sapa's fabricators Perfect Glaze for Laxcon Contractors.
