SAPA dual colour system for village project
Sapa Building Systems' dual colour Dualframe 75 system has been used at the prestigious Poundbury Village development in Dorset.
Mirage is part of the Sandbanks area development, voted the fourth most valuable real estate in the world and home to some of the highest specification building work currently being undertaken in the UK.
Architects for the project, Peter Taylor Associates Limited, designed each of the project's 28 apartments to feature a balcony or terrace that was accessed through the living or sleeping areas.
The slim frames of the Dualframe system enabled the architects to maximise the views from all aspects of the location whilst still being able to feature strong horizontal lines that complemented the development's contemporary appearance.
The use of Dualframe also ensured that the maximum amount of light could flood into every room of the apartments.
The project was completed by Sapa's fabricator Rustington Windows for developer Gleeson Homes.
