Easier life for the plastering trade.

ProBead PVCu beads will not rust or warp and, if stepped on, simply bounce back

Things just seem to get easier for the plastering trade these days.

Do you remember having to fix corner battens? Only being able to plaster one wall or elevation until the other one's set?.

Also the time wasted fixing battens for Bellcast and stops - and removing them without losing the edge? Of course that's all in the past now.

Because along came galvanized and stainless steel plasterers beads for all types of application from render to skimming.

These beads saved time and money, all was not perfect however, as in areas with high moisture content metal can rust, which in turn can cause spalling.

Repairing of this phenomenon is very difficult, often resulting in the costly removal of beads, replacing and unsightly patching of render.

Also how many times have we all heard the cry "Who stepped on these bl--dy beads!" as more lengths were rendered unusable.

On the safety side, the cutting of metal beads can be problematic, often leaving razor sharp edges and jagged mesh - of course that's all in the past now.

Welcome to ProBead PVCu beads, they will not rust, or warp and if stepped on simply bounce back.

No kinking or sharp metal edges.

A truly superior flexible product, beading up couldn't be easier.

ProBead beads are designed and manufactured to BS7413 standard for PVCu extruded profiles.

Guaranteed for 25 years not to rot, crack or discolour, a small mushroom shaped nosing on corner beads allowing for a fuller thickness, trapping the render and giving better impact resistance.

Probead as well as being used with ordinary sand/ cement, painted finishes, has been specifically designed to be used with scraped renders such as K-Rend.

If metal beads are used, the render tends to spall away from the rounded head of the bead.

Probead also comes in a variety of colours to match K-Rend and other scraped renders.

In addition to the standard colours the recent launch of an opaque bead gives architects and specifiers a wider choice.
