At SAS we have developed specifications and solutions for the most common substrates used in today's construction industry, all our specifications are based upon the constant research and development undertaken by ourselves and our counterparts.

Each substrate has individual requirements, due to levels of suction, mechanical keys and the amount of movement predicted, these factors are taken into consideration when putting together a specification.

Substrate stabilizers, primers, basecoats and elastomeric renders are put into place as necessary, e.g our BluClad system comprises of a polymer modified mineral basecoat to even out and stabilize the substrate followed by a colour primer to create a good key for the top coat as well as colouring the surface to avoid patching, completed with a highly flexible, weatherproof and durable top coat to allow for any movement that may take place while providing a pre coloured weather resistant finish.
