A SAS (Europe) product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Mar 28, 2007

SAS (Europe) provided Strikolith Silicone plaster System onto Bluclad board, as a feature of the external facade of a new development in Plymouth.

Sixteen - Portfolio Sixteen is a new development in Plymouth for Regal Heritage .

The scheme was completed in the latter half of 2006.

SAS (Europe) provided the Strikolith Silicone plaster System onto Bluclad board, as a feature of the external facade.

The Strikolith thincoat system is a silicone-resin based product and shall provide a highly weatherproof finish in rich, attractive colours, for decades to come.

The specification provided for the Sixteen scheme included the GW-Plus lightweight basecoat material, fully embedded with alkali resistant, glass-fibre reinforcement mesh, the BGI Coloured Primer and Silicone plaster 2mm to finish.

As part of the SAS (Europe) specification service, we are able to provide full written specifications and samples to meet your needs.

Prior to application on site, sample panels of each coloured finish are supplied to the design team for approval.

Some sample images of the site can be found on the Portfolio pages of the SAS website.
