Salus Controls introduce RT10 - an energy saving electronic room thermostat designed for fine-adjustment of hot water based heating systems, including underfloor heating.

To add to its comprehensive range of heating controls, leading specialist, Salus Controls plc, has introduced RT10 - an energy saving electronic room thermostat designed for the fine-adjustment of hot water based heating systems, including underfloor heating.

Price-competitive, it provides a sophisticated alternative to its mechanical counterparts boasting both system efficiency and reduced running costs.

Offering appeal to both new-build installations and system upgrades, RT10 is also designed for use with radiant panel, radiator and convector heating systems and is an ideal heating control solution for those properties where a non-programmable thermostat is required.

RT10 is designed to provide the ultimate in heating comfort and boasts a variety of energy saving features.

Alongside PWM - Pulse Width Modulation - which enables a set-point temperature to be maintained in a precise and convenient way, RT10 features a Valve Protection control to maintain functionality even when the thermostat is not in use.

A Temperature Reduction function also enables the temperature to be automatically reduced by 4k without the need for any further costly add-on installations.

As with all Salus' controls, RT10 maintains simplicity for the user and installer alike.

In addition to a stylish casing, RT10 incorporates a simple-to-use rotary control dial and an indicator light to show the heat called for.

A standard industry back plate for ease of wiring is also featured.

Commenting on this latest product addition, Salus' Sales and Marketing Director, Dean Jepson, said: "The addition of the RT10 serves to confirm our continued commitment to the design of products that are simple to install and operate, and that offer optimum performance and reliability to both installer and user alike".

"In addition to the product's operating appeal, the RT10's competitive price tag also offers outstanding value for money".

Salus' complete line-up of thermostats includes two programmers, two programmable digital thermostats, two standard digital electronic thermostats and a frost thermostat.

A cylinder thermostat and wiring centre are also available.
