Salus launches underfloor heating controls

Leading heating controls specialist, Salus Controls, targeting growing underfloor heating market with launch of new series of electronic room thermostats.

Price-competitive and boasting system efficiency with low running costs, the ERT Series may also be used with traditional heating systems including radiant panel, radiator and convector heating installations.

A choice of three models - ERT 20, ERT 30 and ERT 50 - offers the ideal heating control solution for new-build installations and system upgrades.

From standard to digital and even programmable options, all models provide a sophisticated alternative to conventional mechanical counterparts.

Unlike most other UFH products, the ERT Series offers simplicity of installation and use, and boasts advanced features and technical qualities that may be individually isolated when used in conjunction with traditional systems.

These include PWM - Pulse Width Modulation - that enables a set-point temperature to be maintained in a precise and convenient way, Valve Protection to enable functionality and control within the system to be maintained, and a Night Set Back facility to control overnight temperatures at a level below normal day operation.

Whilst the ERT2O is a standard electronic room thermostat, the ERT30 is a digital room thermostat that boasts a greater temperature range and includes Frost Protection.

Meanwhile, the top-of-the-range ERT50 programmable room thermostat boasts the ultimate in heating control features and includes temperature zones with three preset profiles, two freely programmable profiles, memory back-up, keypad lock, manual override and a holiday feature.

In addition to a stylish casing, all ERT models incorporate simple-to-use two up and down buttons and the ERT30 and ERT50 models boast a large, easy to read LCD with orange display.

Salus' complete line-up of thermostats includes programmers, electronic, RF, cylinder and frost thermostats, motorized valves, TRVs, bypass valves, wiring centres and control packs.

All products are available via the company's nationwide network of wholesalers and distributors.
