Scott Brothers launches new load and lift garage storage solution specially designed to create garage space and prevent garage-related injuries.

Scott Brothers introduces the latest addition to its Pack-Mate Racor ProStor range of garage storage products, the ProStor PHL-1R HeavyLift.

This novel storage solution has been specially designed to create garage space and prevent garage-related injuries.

The innovative HeavyLift provides homeowners with the ideal garage storage solution, creating more floor space by enabling large items to be stored in the ceiling rafters.

The PHL-1R HeavyLift allows garage users to effortlessly load and lift heavy items up to the ceiling (up to 12 ft high) without the use of a ladder.

This provides safe and accessible storage for all manner of cumbersome household objects, including outdoor furniture, lawn mowers, large toys, canoes, kayaks, holiday ornaments, tires, ladders, lumber, car seats etc.

The PHL-1R HeavyLift comprises of heavy-duty steel support beams, a 4' x 4' platform, winding axle, vinyl coated steel cable, hand crank and mounting hardware.

A recent U.S.study by the not-for-profit Home Safety Council (HSC) shows that injuries in the garage are much more common than many would expect.

The survey reveals that nearly 60 percent of all homeowners are unconcerned about safety hazards within their garage, even though one out of every three respondents report that an injury has occurred in their garage.

More than 75 percent of reported garage-related injuries result from falling objects and tripping over/stepping on an object left on the garage floor, two hazards that could be avoided with PHL-1R HeavyLift storage equipment.

The study also found that 94 percent of garage users store at least one potentially dangerous item in their garage, including sharp power tools, toxic chemicals and flammable liquids.
