Free equipment status management
assessments
Scafftag is celebrating 25 years of keeping sites safe and well maintained by carrying out 25 free equipment status management assessments at projects throughout the UK.
To mark the company's quarter century anniversary, Scafftag is inviting contractors, project managers, inspectors and health and safety specialists to nominate their sites for a free Scafftag Equip site assessment, which can be used to benchmark and improve performance on how equipment status is tracked and communicated to employees Jonathan Edwin, business manager of Scafftag, says: "We hope to receive a high number of nominations for the free assessment, not least because it will undoubtedly help reduce accidents, downtime and associated costs"

Affordable solutions for better forklift safety
With the help of Scafftag's innovative tagging systems, better forklift safety, has helped prevent accidents and loss of life.
"It also gives us the opportunity to give something back to the industry which has supported us so well over 25 years".
Famous for its scaffolding inspection tags, Scafftag began life in 1983 following the launch of its unique product which, in its field, has become almost as generic as Hoover and Velcro.
Today, Scafftag has grown to now offer complete information management solutions through safety, maintenance and identification of all major industrial equipment and workspaces.
Jonathan continues: "We pride ourselves on being a close working partner to our clients, helping them to improve business performance through safety and maintenance best practice".
"It's not just about tagging equipment, but adopting a safe working culture and formalised processes which are engrained within the organisation and its employees".
Today, Scafftag works with all of the top 20 building and construction contractors as well as four of the five largest global oil and gas companies.
In 2007, the company was acquired by the New York Stock Exchange listed firm, Brady Corporation, which has invested in continuous product and service improvements.
Key among them has been Scafftag's Safetrak system, which has taken the process of effective equipment status monitoring and reporting into a new technological age.
Using RFID information technology, Safetrak enables clients and contractors to become more competitive through improved efficiency and control of their safety and maintenance processes.
