John Smart and Son (Kirkcaldy), member of principal employers' federation Scottish Building, have recently concluded a GBP250,000 extension and refurbishment contract in Fife.

'ohn Smart and Son (Kirkcaldy) , a member of principal employers' federation Scottish Building, have recently concluded a GBP250,000 extension and refurbishment contract at the Outdoor Education Centre at Lochore Meadows Country Park Councillor Jim Brennan, Chairman of the Lochore Meadows Advisory Group was delighted to open the facility and thanked all those involved

He praised John Smart and Son for their first class job and said that the facility was now one of which Fife could be proud.

The main aim of the contract was to develop the facilities for Outdoor Education in the Country Park to support the delivery of high quality services to key target groups in Fife, and visitors to Fife.

John Smart and Son (Kirkcaldy) were the main contractor for the job, with Lynn Watt, Director and President of Scottish Building - Fife, and Steve Lumsden, Director being the main agents.

Lynn commented that the company has a long association with Fife Council and previous bodies.

The company has been in business in the town since 1914 and is pleased to be able to undertake works of this nature for the community to enjoy.
