Sandtoft has supplied a full package of clay, concrete, and recycled slate roof tiles and fittings to housebuilder, Allison Homes.
With a large proportion of dilapidated, abandoned and poorly maintained properties, many will be demolished, however, 663 houses will be refurbished and around 600 new houses will be built for sale.
The Gleeson Group has confirmed that all of the roofing work on the new project will utilise Sandtoft's Calderdale Slate tiles.
Craig Sidda, who is handling the contract for Sandtoft, said: "This is a very high profile project, and we are delighted to be associated with the scheme.
"As part of the new consortium agreement, Gleeson will be responsible for maintaining Grove Village over the next 30 years, which is why it is crucial for them to specify only the highest quality products that they can depend upon well into the future".
Calderdale Slate is a cost-effective concrete tile that gives a slate-like appearance with all the benefits of modern interlocking tile design.
It is available in a choice of seven colours and performs at roof pitches down to 17.5 The Gleeson Group is also using a range of additional Sandtoft products to provide secure fixture and fitting of the tiles, including angle and legged angle ridges and the Sandtoft dry roofing systems which are quick and easy to install.
Providing the ideal alternative to traditional mortar bedding, the dry roofing systems reduce maintenance to little more than periodic inspection.
The end result is longer lasting, secure, durable roofs, and a guarantee of consistent standards of workmanship.
Plymouth Grove is the first of eight (PFI) Pathfinder housing schemes planned by the government.
