Blackpool Coastal Housing turn to austenitic door hardware by Securistyle, to help minimise maintenance and increase security as part of its property maintenance and refurbishment programme.

Blackpool Coastal Housing (BCH) is an ALMO (arms length management organisation) for Blackpool Council, which has been in operation for two years.

Blackpool Council previously specified window hardware from Securistyle and the ALMO has now specified door hardware including handles, hinges, locks and anti-manipulation cylinders.

The products are manufactured from austenitic stainless steel, which is highly durable against the extremes of the coastal location.

Over the past 12 months BCH have fitted approximately 870 windows and 160 doors into its properties, with a further 1500 windows and 1800 doors scheduled to be installed over the next year, all with Securistyle hardware.

Chris Crawford, project manager at BCH said: "Securistyle products have a proven track record of being reliable and durable, and are always up-to-date with the constantly-changing European legislation and Building Regulation requirements".

"Furthermore they offer back-up training and maintenance training so we have reassurance that we are getting top quality products and service.".
