Securistyle to launch its Defender Plus range of heavy-duty domestic window hinges which can carry loads of up to 40kg side-hung and 50kg top hung.

The trend for larger windows to allow more light into modern buildings and new homes has lead window and door hardware manufacturer Securistyle to launch its Defender Plus range of heavy-duty domestic window hinges.

Manufactured in the UK, the Defender Plus top and side-hung hinges are available in high-grade austenitic stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance.

The hinges benefit from an asymmetric location system for reliable and accurate closure and the hole-slot-slot vent fixing configuration allows for easy adjustment and guaranteed final fixing into reinforcement where required.

Tested to 30,000 cycles, and, in austenitic stainless steel guaranteed for 12 years, Defender Plus hinges deliver a reliable and long term performance, and have improved weather sealing and draught proofing characteristics.
