Oldroyd P plaster membrane has been awarded BBA approval (certificate number 06/4345).

Oldroyd P plaster membrane has been awarded BBA approval (certificate number 06/4345) The studded waterproofing membrane forms part of the Oldroyd range of polypropylene cavity drainage membranes, and incorporates a mesh welded to one side to provide a key for plaster and render coats over contaminated and damp walls

Specifically designed to be applied directly to damp walls, Oldroyd P is particularly suitable for internal damp walls contaminated with salts.

The plaster membrane can also be used for damp basement walls, vaulted ceilings and externally as a waterproof support for render in exposed situations.

Oldroyd P is fixed directly to the damp wall using special fixing plugs.

The membrane studs face the wall so as to create an air gap permitting the damp wall to breathe and water vapour to travel to ventilation points.

Plaster and finishing renders can be applied directly to the membrane.

CAD drawings are available, and Oldroyd P plaster membrane can be specified using NBS clauses J40-290 and M20-624.

Oldroyd waterproofing membranes are distributed in the UK by specialist waterproofing suppliers Safeguard Europe.
