Sentinel launches Seal X
Sentinel has introduced its new Sentinel Seal X external leak sealer and jointing compound product.
Sentinel, the UK's leading water treatment specialist, has introduced its new Sentinel Seal X external leak sealer and jointing compound product.
In its eye catching new pack, the product has been significantly redesigned to offer additional benefits to installers and merchandisers.
Perhaps most importantly, the product is now non-irritant, unlike other products in the marketplace and it is approved for use in contact with potable water supplies once cured.
Installers will be delighted that it adheres to a wide range of surfaces, wet or dry and works over a wide temperature range, making it suitable for both hot and cold supplies.
The new Sentinel Seal X comes in a flexible plastic tube, replacing the previous metal tube packaging, reducing the risk of damage, splitting or the contents drying out.
The new packaging also comes with a Euro tag for easy hanging but also has a large cap that provides an ideal base for free standing on a shelf or storage area.
Sentinel Seal X is a white compound that improves visibility during and after use and this is particularly useful in poorly lit areas.
Sentinel's Rob Hill says the product is a response to installers requests for a better product: "The old leak sealer and jointing compound product was tried and tested and very well liked and installers purchased it in large quantities".
"But our continual search for product improvement has resulted in a product that is even better and we've now launched Sentinel Seal X.
It's a more environmentally friendly product in line with our desires to move towards a green range of products".
"It's easier to use and store and with the packaging changes, it will have a longer shelf life".
"All round it's a major improvement and initial trials with it have been very successful with first users giving it the thumbs up." More information and further details of the Sentinel Seal X product and the full range of quality Sentinel water treatment products can be found on the web site.
