Dyson ditches dirt with Sentinel
Jetflush units
Heating and hot water pipework can be power-flushed using Sentinel Jetflush unit and X800 Jetflo - Sentinel's powerful chemical cleanser designed to remove iron oxide and calcium.
Saving money for householders, complying with Part L and helping the environment Hundreds of West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and North East homes will be warm and cosy this winter thanks to Dyson Insulations whose teams of installers are fitting around 40 new boilers per week in a scheme aimed at bringing all properties up to the government's Decent Homes Standard by the year 2010

But Dyson Insulation's job doesn't end with the installation of new boilers.
Once the boiler is fitted, all heating and hot water pipework is power-flushed using a Sentinel Jetflush unit and X800 Jetflo - Sentinel's powerful chemical cleanser designed to remove iron oxide and calcium based deposits from heat exchangers, radiators and pipework - to ensure the entire system functions like new.
It is then dosed with Sentinel's X100 inhibitor to ensure that this improved efficiency is long lasting.
John Sherwin, Field Manager at Dyson Insulations, said: "Sludge and scale can reduce a system's efficiency by up to 15% - so it is essential to cleanse it and protect it from future build up".
"This results in welcome reduced energy bills for the householder and less CO2 emissions and it helps us to comply with Part L Building regulations (in hard water areas we also treat the system to a limescale inhibitor)".
He added: "We've always had a strong relationship with Sentinel although we don't actually have a lot of contact with them - we don't need to".
"We've had two of our five Sentinel JetFlush units for a number of years now and despite the fact that we carry out up to 24 power flushes a week, we've never had a problem with them".
"We've been more than impressed with the units, as we have with the chemicals".
"We did temporarily swap to a competitor's products but swiftly reverted back to Sentinel's because of the reliability we've experienced over many years of working with them".
Kate Johnstone, a Senior Sales Consultant at Sentinel said: "We are delighted to hear that our Jetflush units have proved so reliable for Dyson Insulations".
"It's always encouraging to hear positive feedback about our products and services and of course it is also great news for all the householders who will benefit from a warmer home at a reduced cost - to themselves and to the environment.".
