on delivery
Leading building services company SES is pleased to announce it has entered into a new five-year strategic partnership with international engineering and construction group Costain.
Leading building services company SES is pleased to announce it has entered into a new five-year strategic partnership with international engineering and construction group Costain The partnership with SES comes as part of Costain's new 'Partners for Progress' (PfP) collaboration, set up to develop a strategic and close working relationship with 3 key building services organisations, the aim of which is to deliver significant advantage by way of fundamental changes to the normal delivery process

A PfP Team has been established, which will bring together members of Costain and the partnership companies to review Costain's PfP workload on a monthly basis.
Projects will then be assigned to the most suitable of the 3 partners, based on a number of factors including location, sector and specialist experience.
With a focus on delivering opportunities and projects in the key target sectors of health, education, commercial and retail, the partnership will allow both SES and Costain to forge closer working relationships to deliver value added projects across its target markets.
This innovative approach will bring significant benefits to both SES and Costain.
Through strong relationships and increased communication routes, the partnership will deliver more coordinated working practices and processes with increased delivery performance.
Knowledge and best practices will be combined to the benefit of the project, with proactive risk management principals and collaborative management throughout the project lifespan.
Mark Perkins, the SES Director responsible for the PfP partnership, commented on the signing of the partnership charter, "This is a fantastic opportunity for SES and Costain to lead in the drive for best practice and best value in construction.
It represents a significant step forward in respect of SES and building services becoming a totally integrated part of the Costain business going forward and demonstrates our continuing success in achieving our strategic business goals of increased levels of repeat business through close value based relationships as well as our commitment to innovate in all that we do".
