SES Knockout The Opposition!

A fun-filled day was had by a SES team in York recently as they succeeded in winning the 2003 'It's A Knockout' crown to the City.

The annual event is held in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief's - York Appeal and helped raised over ?10,000 for the charity.

Twenty-three businesses and organisations entered the competition, which saw the sides go head-to-head on a giant inflatable assault course spiced up with the addition of water and foam.

The SES team also took a second top prize on the day for raising the most sponsorship money, more than £1,600.

All the SES participants would like to thank all those who sponsored their efforts and say they are now looking forward to defending their trophy next year.
