The £11.5m Joint Venture between SES and M J Gleeson at the Royal Berkshire and Battle Hospital in Reading reached another milestone in its refurbishment contract recently.
The £11.5m Joint Venture between SES and M J Gleeson at the Royal Berkshire and Battle Hospital in Reading reached another milestone in its refurbishment contract recently with the completion and opening of two high-tech operating theatres, recovery room and high dependency rooms This means the hospital can now offer the people of Reading a further enhanced emergency operating service in times of crisis

Restoring the Headrow in Leeds
SES has been awarded the GBP7million mechanical and electrical design and installation contract for the restoration of 22-26 The Headrow, in the heart of Leeds city centre.
The 140-week programme has seen extensive works at the hospital and has been completed whilst the areas around the works are kept fully operational.
This has been a task in itself and a credit to the site team who have kept disruption at the Royal Berkshire and Battle Hospital to a minimum.
SES's mechanical work has comprised the installation of ventilation, heating, cooling, medical gases and domestic services.
Also, to allow the hospital future flexibility with its pipework systems SES recommended and installed 'Cuprofit'.
Electrically work has included installing a new fire alarm system in to the new areas, lighting and power plus the marriage and extension to the Hospital's existing Building Management System.
