SES has been awarded the GBP2.3m contract to install MandE services within the St James Gate development in the heart of Newcastle.

Leading building services provider SES has been awarded the £2.3m contract to install MandE services within the St James Gate development in the heart of Newcastle Works will be completed within a tight 16-week timescale to enable end-client The Big Lottery Office to move in by February 2006

This prestigious new development incorporates office, leisure and retail accommodation.

To ensure the smooth running of this fast-track contract, SES has opted to use modularisation for the service risers, floors and core services.

Alongside the commercial benefits of modularization, this approach has significant health and safety benefits as well as environmental.

Full works will include 4 pipe fan coil units, comfort cooling, underfloor power and Building Management System control.

SES is working for the main contractor McAleer Rushe Group.

Client: St James Gate/Big Lottery Office.

Location: Newcastle.

Value: £2.3m.

Duration: 16 weeks.

Project Description: High specification commercial development.

Scope: Office fit-out, including mechanical, public health and electrical services installation and commissioning.
