Stroma Accreditation and IE) have joined forces to offer a complete one-stop-shop solution for those wishing to become accredited Building Energy Assessors to levels 3, 4 or 5.

This partnership offers an easy route to qualifications and accreditation needed in order to produce and lodge Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) in England and Wales.

Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) is providing access to its comprehensive software training and support capabilities.

is market-leading CLG accredited software that has the capability to create EPCs for non-dwellings in England and Wales, regardless of size or complexity, with either the SBEM (Simplified Building Energy Model) or DSM (Dynamic Simulation Model) calculation routes.

Stroma offers flexible/ tailored routes to accreditation, including the APEL route which recognises the experience of the assessor, offering a fast track and cost saving process.

For candidates without relevant experience, Stroma offers a route through the National Occupation Standard (NOS) Qualification, which facilitates entry through completion of a Nationally recognised diploma.

So regardless of what level Energy Assessor someone wants to be, Stroma, in conjunction with IES, offers the software tools, qualifications and accreditation package to meet their needs.

Exclusive Level 3 Package.

Stroma has an exclusive alliance with IES for the distribution of their new low-cost EPC only software package, the IES , which enables the easy creation of Level 3 EPCs and includes in its price training, competency certification and support.

Stroma is supporting the roll out of this software with the launch of a Level 3 Diploma approved to ABBE standards.

This complete solution combines all the required software, training, qualifications and accreditation into one complete package making it an easy, cost and time effective route to becoming a Level 3 Energy Assessor.

The software uses IES's CLG accredited calculation methodology, which is model-based and extremely easy to use.

Additionally the new software offers the ability to compare this SBEM calculated EPC against a DSM calculated one.
